The McCallum Lab is building a collaborative, supportive, and curiosity-driven research environment in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology at the University of Toronto.
We welcome trainees and researchers interested in structural biology, virology, protein design, immunology, and vaccine development.
Potential projects may involve cryo-EM, protein expression and purification, viral glycoprotein engineering, computational design, antibody characterization, and immune response profiling.
People from diverse scientific backgrounds are encouraged to reach out. Prior experience in all areas is not required; enthusiasm, careful thinking, and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
If you’re a graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, research technician or undergraduate student and are interested in joining our lab, contact Dr. McCallum with a brief description of your research interests and relevant experience.
